The Educating the Engineer of the Future Campaign Team
Nenone manages the Faculty of Engineering development and alumni teams, while overseeing alumni relations in the California, Seattle, New York, Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo regions. Professionally fundraising since 1998, Nenone has been with Waterloo Engineering since 2004 and has been instrumental in building the dynamic Waterloo Engineering alumni network while helping to establish significant scholarships and endowment funds for Educating the Engineer of the Future. A mother of two young children, Nenone volunteers in community outreach and also sits on the Board for the Emmanuel at Brighton Daycare.
Prachi holds an MA in Economics from India and joined the Faculty of Engineering with eight years of development experience in both higher education and social profit sector in India, United States and Canada. As a Senior Development Officer, Prachi leads the major gifts strategy and manages alumni relations in Calgary, Ottawa and Southern Ontario. Prachi, who speaks four languages, is an active volunteer with her local Neighbourhood Association, YMCA of Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo and Nutrition for Learning.
A University of Waterloo graduate, Salman Jivani has been working in Advancement at the University of Waterloo since 2010 and has been a Development Officer with the Faculty of Engineering since 2013. Salman manages leadership level pipeline development and faculty, staff, and retiree initiatives with a focus on local alumni and friends within the GTA and Waterloo Region. He is currently pursuing an MA in Rhetoric and Communication Design with a focus on disrupting traditional fundraising practices. In his free time, Salman works as the Director of Advancement and Strategy at Meshlytics, a local start-up, and volunteers with development organizations, such as the World Partnership Walk, to help bring an end to global poverty.
Josh has worked in development for over a decade in Vancouver, New York, Toronto, and now Waterloo as a Senior Development Officer for the Faculty of Engineering. Josh is a UBC graduate, holds a CFRE designation, and considers himself to be a lifelong learner. Josh has raised millions of dollars for the arts, hunger relief, sustainability, and education, most recently managing the call centre program at the University of Guelph. In his spare time, Josh and his wife Laura walk their English bulldog, play music, and perform at comedy shows.

Erin, with Advancement at the University of Waterloo since 2007, joined the Faculty of Engineering’s team in 2012. She provides overall administrative and operational support in carrying out activities under the Director’s area of responsibility, manages the administrative functions of the Advancement office, supervises our two administrative staff members and directs the work of our co op students. Erin is CHRP certified with a Human Resources Management Professional designation. She is a member of the Grand Valley Human Resources Professional Association. Erin obtained her BA from Brock University.
Gosia manages the Engineering Alumni Affairs program that serves all graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, including the School of Architecture and the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre at the University of Waterloo. She helps create the global network of Waterloo Engineering alumni, fostering their pride in their alma mater, providing alumni with exclusive and educational opportunities, promoting the success of alumni, as well as to keeping alumni connected with each other. Gosia speaks two languages fluently while continuing to learn a third. A University of Waterloo graduate, Gosia has worked in the Faculty of Engineering in Alumni Relations since 2003.
